Committee

Who is RAG?

As mentioned before, every student is automatically a member of RAG but we also have a committee who are responsible for the day to day running of RAG. Here they are!

President: Issy Worral

I oversee all the goings on of RAG – whether that’s helping you set up a bake sale on campus, helping to run events such as Jailbreak or even making decisions about which International Adventures to run next year, my job covers it all! If you have any questions about RAG in general, drop me a message at president@susurag.org and I’ll get back to you or put you in touch with the right person!

Events: William Coussens

Events Ladies and Gents; I’m in-charge of bringing you the biggest and best celebrations of RAGitude and charity cheer, organising and running events throughout the year in aid of a selection of incredibly worthwhile charities. Ranging from Breastival (a music festival in aid of Breast Cancer Now), to the RAG Christmas Fayre, to the RAG Olympiad, to the Naked Calendar; you name it, we’ve got it. Got an idea? Email me at Events@susurag.org!

Administrator: Chelsea Smith

As administrator, I’m in charge of keeping things organised, by adding events to the calendar and taking minutes at meetings. I also sort out sponsorship for big events such as Enigma and Lost. admin@susurag.org

Big Give: Simon Pinney

I’m responsible for organising and running the Big Give week, You might be thinking what on earth is that? Well, it’s my job to help run, co-ordinate and manage the Big Give week, this year known as Rag Week. It’s a week of incredible events raising money for incredible causes. It’s set to be in late January early February. If you want to help out or have any ideas drop me an email on biggive@susurag.org

Raids: Pete Johnson

I’m the raids officer that means I coordinate and organise all the bucket collections that rag does and help other societies get the permits to do it too. We don’t just fundraise in Southampton, we often head up to London for mega raids where we take over tube and train stations across the city raising thousands in one day. If you’re loud and love dressing up I’m your guy. Email me at raids@susurag.org if you have and questions

I’m in charge of RAG’s adventurous side. Whether you’re running a marathon or climbing a mountain, my job is to ensure that you are supported from start to finish. If you want to take on a challenge for one of our incredible partner charities, email me on adventures@susurag.org
