It was hard for the Teenage Cancer Trust to go unheard of with the late Stephen Sutton raising a phenomenal amount of money for the charity after being diagnosed with cancer.
It comes as little surprise, then, that Teenage Cancer Trust was chosen as one of 3 charities that RAG will be supporting this academic year and we are very proud!
Teenage Cancer Trust is a charity that aims to improve the quality and life expectancy of cancer sufferers aged 13-24. They estimate that around 7 people in the UK – within this 11 year age gap – are diagnosed with cancer every day, with the most common type of cancer being lymphoma.
As well as supporting those who are diagnosed with cancer, TCT also research, provide information and maintain cancer units across the UK.
Alongside Solent Mind and WaterAid, RAG will be raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust this year, however if you would like to get more involved you can set up your own fundraiser, make an independent donation to the charity through their JustGiving page, attend one of the events that they host throughout the year or buy merchandise from their online shop. And, of course, you can find more information on their website:
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
