Adventures

Every year we run incredible international adventures that are guaranteed to get your pulse racing. These adventures allow you to challenge yourself with fundraising for the trip of a lifetime for a fantastic cause and have raised £200,000 over the last 3 years.

Kilimanjaro Expedition

Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the most impressive sights in Africa and climbing it is one of the all-time great achievements. Rising majestically from a rolling plain close to the Indian Ocean, Kilimanjaro soars to a chilling 5,895m high peak (well above the cloud line). It’s the highest mountain in Africa and the largest freestanding mountain in the world. The feeling you get as you climb Kilimanjaro and watch the sun rise over the vast plains from the ‘Roof of Africa’ is truly an incredible experience.

We are working with Meningitis Research Foundation for this years Kilimanjaro Expedition, our long term charity partners and perminant beneficiaries of Southampton RAG. MRF work tirelessly to eradicate meningitis and sceptacemia, two diseases that affect a large proportion of university students.
